Strella's sensor system includes high-precision components like antennas, oxygen sensors, and carbon dioxide sensors. By monitoring gas concentrations, these sensors track the environmental changes in storage spaces, helping to gauge the freshness of agricultural products. The complex nature of this system requires sensors to have exceptional sealing and waterproofing qualities, making engineering design stability and production consistency critical.

This also included an extensive Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to ensure smooth operations in later stages of assembly.

To meet the high production standards required for Strella’s sensors, FCE established a dedicated assembly line equipped with advanced tools and equipment, including electric screwdrivers, custom test fixtures, programming devices, and computers for testing.Every detail was carefully planned, from setting the proper torque for screwdrivers to preventing assembly errors. The process minimizes rework and ensures a high first-pass yield rate.
Each sensor is individually coded and data is tracked, ensuring traceability for every product. This provides Strella with the assurance that all product data is available and easily accessible for future maintenance.
